A dual AKG PRO40Flexx wireless receiver with handheld and lapel transmitters were added to the sound system along with lockable drawer for the rack.

Hallow Primary School - Worcester

Following a well-received sound installation at this go-ahead village school, a couple of years ago, we have been back again to assist with their hall lighting.

The brief for this was to use as little power as possible, and to achieve a basic 3 colour stage wash at either end of the hall with one set of lights,

We opted for an LED solution, using the excellent ColorPunch fittings. These use 36 x 3 watt LEDs. We used 4 units on a movable bar, clipped to the ceiling mounts by doughty big ben half couplers. It was an obvious solution and gives the school all they want in terms of washes from the ground, without venturing near a ladder. Further back midway in the hall is another bar of 3 x Source Four Junior Profile Zooms.

The ceiling fixings proved to be a bit of a nightmare and an elaborate structure had to be created to support everything.

Paul Turner from AC Lighting did the LED demos at the school for which we are most grateful, but he ended up walking off home with the school's exceedingly old Strand wound dimmer for his collection of antique lighting.
